Full Moon Party - Thailand

Hi,

this is my first time posting, and I am looking for some experiences with the Full Moon Party in Thailand. Has any one been to the party?

Was it enjoyable? Is it Safe? Would you go out of your way to go it again?

Went in May. Felt pretty safe. May is supposed to be one of the quiter parties, ie. only 8-10,000 people.

Would go back if in the area.
